Orders & Dispatch
When do you ship orders?
We currently dispatch orders twice a week, every Monday and Wednesday.
- Orders placed before midnight (UK time) on Sunday will ship on Monday.
- Orders placed before midnight (UK time) on Tuesday will ship on Wednesday.
- Orders placed after these cut-offs will ship in the next available dispatch.
This rhythm allows us to craft, pack, and quality-check every bar with care and consistency.
How are orders shipped?
All orders are sent using tracked, insulated express shipping to ensure each bar reaches you in perfect condition, dependant on time of year and destination.
- UK orders ship via Royal Mail or DPD (express).
- International orders ship via DHL Express, our trusted global partner.
How long does delivery take?
Typical delivery windows once dispatched:
- UK: 1–2 business days
- EU: 1–3 business days
- Middle East & Turkey: 2–4 business days
- USA & Canada: 3–5 business days
- Asia: 2–5 business days
- Australia & New Zealand: 3–6 business days
- Rest of World: 3–7 business days

Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. We offer complimentary express shipping once your order reaches a certain value.
Free-shipping thresholds vary by region and are shown clearly at checkout.
This ensures customers receive fast, reliable delivery at the best possible value.
Packaging & Chocolate Care
How do you ensure chocolate travels well?
We ship all orders in insulated packaging when needed, designed to protect handmade chocolate from heat, movement, and long-distance travel.
Our bar packaging includes a home-compostable NatureFlex® inner wrapper and a recyclable embossed outer box.
How should I store my chocolate?
To preserve flavour and texture:
- Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.
- Avoid refrigeration unless your room temperature is consistently above 22°C.
- If refrigeration is necessary, place the sealed bar in an airtight container to avoid moisture.
How long does the chocolate keep?
Each bar carries a best-before date which is a recommendation we set based on quality. While safe to enjoy beyond that, we recommend consuming within a month of dispatch for the optimal experience.
Ingredients, Dietary Information & Allergens
Are your chocolates plant-based?
Yes. Every Khourys bar is crafted using naturally plant-based ingredients and refined technique.
No synthetic substitutes. No shortcuts.
Do your chocolates contain allergens?
All our bars contain nuts and most contain gluten.
All allergens are clearly listed on:
- each product page
- the physical packaging
Our chocolate kitchen handles nuts and gluten, so trace amounts may be present, even in products that do not directly contain them.
Are your chocolates gluten-free or nut-free?
Our kitchen is not a gluten-free or nut-free facility, and cross-contamination cannot be ruled out, though we take precautions in the kitchen.
If you have severe allergies, we recommend exercising caution.
Orders, Gifting & Bulk Purchases
Can I send chocolate as a gift?
Absolutely. Every bar is designed as a Chocolate Love Letter, boxed beautifully and ready to delight. You may ship directly to your recipient and include a gift message at checkout.
Can I order more than 20 bars?
For orders over 20 bars, or for corporate and event gifting, please email khourys@philipkhoury.com or used the Special Requests and Corporate orders form at the bottom of the page.
We can assist with large quantities, bespoke bundles, and express delivery options.
Do you offer wholesale?
We offer selective wholesale partnerships that align with our values. Please reach out if you believe your establishment may be a good fit.
Customs, Duties & International Orders
Will I need to pay customs duties or import tax?
Depending on your country, DHL may collect import duties or VAT.
These fees are determined by local authorities and are outside our control.
During checkout, Shopify will show whether duties are charged upfront (DDP) or on arrival (DAP).
What if my order is delayed by customs?
This happens occasionally during peak seasons or in certain countries.
Your tracking link will show any updates, and DHL may contact you directly if action is required.

How often do new flavours launch?
We release new chocolate bars regularly, often tied to our City Bar series, seasonal inspirations, and special collaborations.
